Launched in September 2013, JAK Hanson has grown from strength to strength. JAK Hanson is named after the founders of the business - Jane, Andrew and Kirsty and Hanson was the surname of Jane and Andrew's grandma, who would have been in her element shopping at the store. She was always one for a bargain!
Originally, the business started out as 'Kiddiroo' back in 2008 and was purely an online company selling children's toys which were a bit different. In 2011, they moved into a shop. They quickly outgrew the premises and moved again in 2012 where they remained until 2019.
In 2013, they opened a second store at Derby House, Wrightington and called it JAK Hanson Shopping Outlet. At first they only sold children's toys but they quickly expanded into what you see today.
