We were delighted to be featured on the BBC News North-West on Wednesday 27th May 2020. Stuart Flinders came down to JAK Hanson to discuss the changes being made in store in preparation to welcoming customers back when we re-open. Having done a lot of work and liaising with different government officials and agencies word got out about the measures we were taking, even before the announcement came about re-opening. Over two hours of filming put into a few minutes doesn't show everything but it hopefully gives a flavour of the changes we are making to provide our customers and staff with the confidence that we will continue to provide a welcoming and safe shopping experience.
It was a great experience although with added challenges that come with filming and being interviewed at a safe 2m distance! Lots of takes and re-takes!
In response to Stuart playing devils advocate at the end of the piece we firmly believe that although there is a place for the internet we believe shopping is a social experience and we pride ourselves and providing a friendly, family orientated environment that brings people back time and time again.
